One of the trends this season that I am loving, but not sure if I can pull off, is the maxi skirt/dress. I have a few favs from the spring 2011 runways....

Where did that money go?

Shopping, first day of spring break, THE BEST. <3 I bought some sweet stuffff!

First, I got some super soft, sheer cotton shirts from American Apparel. I got a white shirt, a black shirt and blck tank top, and a light blue tank top, they were buy one get one free. I got super short shorts from american apparel, they have zippers on the side! I also got two pairs of over the knee socks from there too! And last, I got a really cute flowy, sheer top from a cute new boutique here, its by Pink Martini.

Me and my sista kathryn got our makeup done at a department store here, it was at the NARS counter and it was soo fun, she bought the green eyeliner she is sporting below!

Here kathryn is wearing two of my new shirts, and my new over the knee cable knit opaque socks.

My shorts are american apparel, and so are the socks. The shoes are aldo, and the shirt is Pink Martini.
That's all for nowww! xoxoxoxo

Post-Valentines Sentiments

Ok, so here it is yet again, the day after Valentines day, and I am again, confused. I really don't understand the holiday. I am not saying I don't like it, I love the candy, and hearts, and making cards for all my friends, going to dinner and getting two desserts! I had a really fun day, BUT what I don't understand, is all the bitter, angry people on Valentines day. I understand what its like to be alone, I have actually never been with someone on Valentines Day, I almost was this year, but that's just how it goes.

I really think, if people can embrace their single-ness and have fun with friends, and NOT sulk in their rooms alone, the day can be a fun excuse to spend some money, eat some good food, and watch bad movies.

Here are some of my favourite things with the Valentines Day theme....

Clutches!

From Top: Marc Jacobs Spring 2011, Kimchi Blue quilted clutch (available at Urbanoutfitters.com)

Shoes!

Top: Dolce Vita strappy platform wedges. Left: Cooperative platform square heel. (Both at Urban Outfitters) Right: Miu Miu spring 2011.

Beauty!

From Top: Lipstick Queen, Big Bang line. Chanel Midnight Red nail polish.

That's it for my Valentines Day Loves!
